When Isla first came to me, she admitted she felt embarrassed to post about her business — her visuals just didn’t match her vibe. They didn’t reflect who she is or the experience her clients have when working with her. She knew it was time for a change and wanted to give her brand some welly, but wasn’t quite sure what direction to take. That’s where the research phase came in.
Interestingly, it was only when I created exactly what Isla thought she wanted that she realised it wasn’t quite right. From there, we refined the brief, pulling back a little on her wild side to create something that still felt unmistakably Imercer, but that would also appeal to a more corporate audience and hold its own in a male-dominated industry. The sweet spot we found kept her vibrant personality front and centre while bringing in the clarity, confidence, and credibility her brand needed to grow.
Due to personal circumstances, Isla hasn’t quite launched her new brand into the world just yet - but she’s absolutely over the moon with the designs and is holding off until she can give the launch the big moment it deserves.
